NIV - probably my favorite for devotional reading. I actually use an old TNIV (out of print), but it’s really similar to the NIV, especially those printed after a major update in 2011.

NRSV - great for scholarly study and interpretation, but not the best for reading
General Resources
The Bible Project - animated, engaging videos for each book of the Bible and a number of topics. Free.
Biblical Archaeology Review - one OT scholar described this to me as the best of Biblical archaeology scholarship, written up at an 8th grade reading level. 6 issues a year, about $20.
